On offer is a sound-insulated, water-cooled diesel generator with 150 kVA – 120,000 watts of power from the brand RTE. The power generator provides an off-grid power supply for, for example, construction sites, events, power outages, and many other areas of application.
Inside the generator, a high-quality diesel engine from Ricardo is installed, a British engine manufacturer with over 100 years of experience in building engines for cars, trucks, and ships.
The brand name "Ricardo" goes back to a British engineering firm founded in 1915, which developed one of the first practical high-speed diesel engines with the so-called "Comet" combustion chamber system – originally for bus operations in London. Today, the engines are manufactured in industrial series quality according to this proven license and are known for their robustness in continuous operation.
The 150 kVA generator offers an output voltage of 400 V / 216.5 A and runs on diesel fuel. The 175-liter tank allows for an operating time of up to 8 hours at 75% load.
Thanks to the versatile connection options (including 2 × 16 A 230V and 2 × 32 A 400V), the generator can be used flexibly. In addition, an ATS module is integrated, which ensures an uninterruptible power supply.
The integrated genset controller can be switched between two operating modes: In manual mode, you start the generator yourself when needed and switch the load by hand. In automatic mode, the controller permanently monitors your grid, starts the generator independently in the event of a power failure, and takes over the supply within a few seconds – when grid power returns, the system switches back automatically and in a controlled manner.
Noise emission: At around 70 dB(A) at a distance of 7 m, the generator is in the normal range for its performance class – comparable to a vacuum cleaner or a busy restaurant. For continuous use near residential areas, we recommend checking local noise protection regulations.
