On offer is a sound-insulated, water-cooled diesel generator set with an output of 75 kVA / 60 kW (continuous power) from the brand RTE. The generator is ideally suited for off-grid power supply – e.g., in emergency situations where a reliable energy source is required.
Inside, it is powered by a robust Ricardo diesel engine (engine model: R4105AZLD). Ricardo engines are synonymous with durable, industrial quality and are designed for continuous operation.
The brand name "Ricardo" goes back to a British engineering firm founded in 1915, which developed one of the first practical high-speed diesel engines using the so-called "Comet" combustion chamber system – originally for London bus operations. Today, these engines are manufactured to industrial mass-production quality under this proven license and are known for their robustness in continuous operation.
The generator delivers an output voltage of 400 V in 3-phase operation with a frequency of 50 Hz. The rated current is 108.3 A, with a power factor of cos φ = 0.8.
In standby mode, the generator provides up to 83 kVA / 66 kW – ideal for peak loads or as a reliable emergency power source.
The engine speed is 1500 rpm, ensuring stable continuous operation. The design is rated as CONT. (Continuous Rating) – meaning it is built for long-term use.
The generator is factory-equipped with a genset controller including an ATS module (Automatic Transfer Switch), which can be toggled between two operating modes: In manual mode, you start the generator yourself as needed and switch the load by hand. In automatic mode, the controller monitors your grid constantly, starts the generator automatically in the event of a power failure, and takes over the power supply within a few seconds – when grid power returns, the system switches back automatically and in a controlled manner.
Noise levels: At around 70 dB(A) at a distance of 7 m, the generator is within the normal range for its performance class – comparable to a vacuum cleaner or a busy restaurant. For continuous use near residential areas, we recommend checking local noise protection regulations.
The generator is supplied with a 12-month warranty. Spare parts are available at any time if needed. This is new, original-packaged merchandise that can either be collected in 47906 Kempen or shipped free of charge within Germany.
