The Tobasa Basic Pro 100 kVA is a soundproofed, water-cooled diesel power generator from our Basic Pro series – designed for industry, pumping stations, data centers, clinics, and professional continuous operation. Compared to our standard models, the Basic Pro series offers better base equipment: automatic speed control, engine preheating, crane lifting eyes, and a powerful 63A socket.
The unit is powered by a robust Ricardo R6105AZD diesel engine combined with a 274C type brushless alternator. Control is managed by a ComAp IL4-AMF20 controller with an integrated automatic transfer switch (ATS) for uninterrupted starting in the event of a power failure.
The brand name "Ricardo" goes back to a British engineering firm founded in 1915, which developed one of the first practical high-speed diesel engines with the so-called "Comet" combustion chamber system – originally for bus transport in London. Today, the engines are manufactured in industrial series quality under this proven license and are known for their robustness in continuous operation.

🔧 Electronic speed governor & ABB circuit breaker
The electronic speed governor ensures a stable frequency even under fluctuating loads – this protects the engine and increases efficiency. The installed ABB circuit breaker reliably protects the unit against overload.

🔄 Manual or automatic – you decide
The ComAp controller can be switched between two operating modes: In manual mode, you start the generator yourself when needed and switch the load manually. In automatic mode (AMF), the controller permanently monitors your grid, starts the generator independently in the event of a power failure, and takes over the supply within a few seconds – when grid power returns, the system switches back automatically and in a controlled manner.

Integrated engine preheating (water heating) ensures reliable starting even at low outside temperatures – guaranteeing year-round operation. An integrated battery charger keeps the starter battery permanently ready for use.
