On offer is a soundproofed, water-cooled diesel generator with a capacity of 100 kVA – 80,000 watts from the brand RTE. This product is a high-performance stationary emergency power generator for reliable power supply in case of an emergency.
Inside the generator is a high-quality diesel engine from Ricardo, a British engine manufacturer with over 100 years of experience in building engines for cars, trucks, and ships.
The brand name "Ricardo" goes back to a British engineering firm founded in 1915 that developed one of the first practical high-speed diesel engines with the so-called "Comet" combustion chamber system – originally for bus operations in London. Today, the engines are manufactured in industrial series quality according to this proven license and are known for their robustness in continuous operation.
The 100 kVA generator offers an output voltage of 400 V / 142 A and runs on diesel fuel. The 135-liter tank allows for an operating time of up to 8 hours at 75% load.
Thanks to the versatile connection options (including 3 × 16 A and 1 × 32 A, 400V & 230V), the generator can be used flexibly. In addition, an ATS module is integrated, which ensures an uninterruptible power supply.
The integrated genset controller can be switched between two operating modes: In manual mode, you start the generator yourself when needed and switch the load by hand. In automatic mode, the controller permanently monitors your mains, starts the generator independently in the event of a power failure, and takes over the supply within a few seconds – when grid power returns, the system switches back automatically and in a controlled manner.
Noise level: At around 70 dB(A) at a distance of 7 m, the generator is within the normal range for its power class – comparable to a vacuum cleaner or a busy restaurant. For continuous use near residential areas, we recommend consulting local noise protection regulations.
Functionality:
The diesel engine generates kinetic energy, which is converted into electrical energy by the generator – comparable to the alternator in a car.
