Mobile LED light tower for construction sites, municipalities, and events
The Tobasa ALPHA is the compact light tower for professional use. Four adjustable 320-watt LED floodlights generate 255,000 lumens and illuminate an area of up to 8,800 m². The galvanized telescopic mast is extended to 7.6 meters via a hand crank – no hydraulics, no power supply required for mast operation, making it correspondingly less prone to failure.
145 hours without refueling
The Yanmar 2TNV70 with EU Stage V exhaust technology and the 80-liter tank provide an autonomy of up to 145 hours during lighting operation. With twelve hours of operation per night, that is around twelve nights without the need for a refueling trip. Power generation is provided by a LINZ generator, and monitoring is handled by a ComAp controller.
750 kg gross vehicle weight rating
The ALPHA sits on an EU-road-legal trailer with a gross vehicle weight rating of 750 kg. In many cases, this means it can be transported without a special trailer license – the towing vehicle and existing driver's license are the determining factors, which we will check with you on a case-by-case basis. An integrated lifting hook also allows for repositioning via crane.
This is the practical difference compared to the larger BETA FULL: If you frequently move the light tower yourself and want to make do with your existing fleet, the ALPHA is easier to handle. Those who need maximum light output and mast height should choose the BETA FULL.
Stage V – approved for mobile use
The engine complies with the current EU emission standard for mobile machinery. This is a prerequisite if the device is used at changing locations or for lighting events. At 61 dB(A) at a distance of seven meters, it operates quietly enough for nights in residential areas.
Power for additional consumers
You can power tools or other consumers directly from the light tower via the CEE socket 16 A / 230 V, 50 Hz.
Stability and weather resistance
Four fold-out stabilizer legs ensure stability even on difficult terrain; the design is wind-stable up to 100 km/h. The fully sealed housing protects against rain, dust, and moisture; the light tower is designed for ambient temperatures from −25 °C to +50 °C.
